Rubber Stamp Mosaic project. Students learned about different kinds of mosaics. We discussed pattern, repetition, and where mosaics can be found in the world. The students practiced different designs/motifs in their sketch books and then selected on to carve into a rubber stamp. They practiced rotating the rubber stamp around different corners and then created a final grid to stamp, crop, and mount.
